Zartaj Gul visits Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Punjab
State Minister starts plantation drive

LAHORE: The Minister of State for Climate Change, Zartaj Gul visited the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau Punjab (CP&WB) on the invitation of Sarah Ahmad, Chairperson CP&WB here on Saturday.
The State Minister visited the Bureau offices where she was briefed about real time monitoring of divisional offices, schools, as well as operational functions. She also met with children and asked them about the facilities, environment, education and all other facilities which are being provided by Bureau.
On this occasion, Zartaj Gul planted a tree along with Chairperson Sarah Ahmed and Rukhsana Naveed, MNA (Parliamentary Secretary for Environment) to start a plantation drive in connection with the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan.
While speaking the occasion, she maintained that PTI government’s focus is on human development, not on cosmetic gimmicks.
“Our policies are geared towards bridging the poverty gap through progressive initiatives that serve as enablers for the poor and needy, state minister said.
Zartaj Gul lauded the services of Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Punjab and also appreciated the efforts of Chairperson against child abuse and massive awareness campaign to highlight the children’s right as well as aware to educate them about their self-protection.
