Lahore: SNGPL Task force Peshawar region during it’s continued operations against Gas theft in Peshawar city and it’s suburbs, Karak, Suburbs of Bannu has disconnected 287 nos. Illegal connections along uplifting of 1650 feet associated pipe, 107 no’s. Suspected Domestic/commercial Meters have been replaced and 189 nos. Legal domestic consumers have been caught in pilferage of Gas through direct use/meter tampering against which Theft volume of 7 MMCF has been detected.
02 no. FIRs have been lodged and request for 1 no FIRs against gas theft has been lodged in concerned police station. Based on source report from informer, freshly laid illegal line (1000 ft x 1 1/4″ Dia) was removed from Shah Nawaz town Dalazak road Peshawar.

SNGPL Task Force conducted successful operations against gas thef in the following areas of Peshawar city including suburbs Bazidkhel, Masezai, Larama, charsadda road, Hazarkhwani, Surezai, Urmar, Regi, Marozai, Sarband, Achini, Kohat road, Bara Road, Palosi, Tehkal, Jamrud road, G.T.Road, Landi arbab, Abdara, pawaki, warsak road, sufaid sang, Mulazai, landi Arbab, suburbs of Bannu, Karak.
Meanwhile UFG-C and Commercial vigilance teams of Lahore Region carried out successful raid in Hassan town multan road and disconnected bypass of gas which is installed in service line of commercial meter. The bypass along with meter is disconnected from site. Gas was used for commercial purposes in tandoor and hotel. All necessary actions have been taken with regard to connected load, service lines removal.
