LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that record promotion and increase in salaries is an open proof of PTI’s doctor-friendly policy. Doctors while considering their job as prophetic profession should play due role for providing best treatment facilities to the patients. Historic measures are being taken according to the vision of Imran Khan for improving the condition of public sector hospitals. The purpose of revamping of hospitals, reforms being introduced in health department Punjab and restoration of rural and basic health units are to provide relief to the patients. She said that through Health Insaf Card facility is being provided to the deprived segment of the society who cannot afford expensive treatment. Principal Service Institute of Medical Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmood Ayaz, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tayyab, Principal Allama Iqbal Medical College Prof. Dr. Arif Tajamal, MS General Hospital Dr. Mehmood Salauddin and a large number of young doctors were present in the meeting.
Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid has said that according to the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, the health department is providing best medical healthcare facilities to the patients in public sector hospitals of the province.
These views were expressed by her during a meeting with the Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource Ansar Majeed Khan in his office today. Matters regarding mutual cooperation in social security hospitals and political situation of the country came under discussion during the meeting.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that the health department is ready to provide any kind of cooperation for providing medical facilities to the patients of social security hospitals. Former corrupt rulers made the country bankrupt by filling up their coffers. Punjab Health Minister further stated that the federal government has presented a people-friendly budget. Minister Labour and Human Resource thanked Dr. Yasmin Rashid for ensuring complete cooperation regarding social security hospitals.
