PHA opens Gul-e-Daudi show at Jillani Park

LAHORE: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) on Friday kicked off the annual Chrysanthemum (Gul-e-Daudi) week-long exhibition at Jillani Park for the citizens of the provincial capital.
The exhibition will continue for a week-long from 8 am to 9 pm (29 November to 8 December 2019). This colourfulness and captivating exhibition was organized by PHA in collaboration with the Horticulture Society of Pakistan. As many as 200 varieties of different flowers have been displayed in this chrysanthemums show.
Ms Neelum Hayat Malik MPA, along with Chairman PHA Yasir Gillani, Director General PHA, and other senior officials inaugurated the annual Chrysanthemum (Gul-e-Daudi) show at Jillani Park.
While speaking at the occasion, Ms Malik this exhibition is the greatest gift for the people of Lahore. She appealed the citizens that they must come to Jillani Park with children and family for getting fragrances, freshness and enjoying the colourful flowers and nature beyond the smoggy surrounding. She appreciated the entire team of PHA for organizing this beautiful exhibition and best arrangements for the citizens of Lahore.
On the occasion, PHA Chairman said that flowers give us a message of love, peace, and feeling of freshness which provide reawakening feelings of spring even in the season of autumn. He added that colourful displayed of flowers have elutriated the atmosphere. The PHA is taking all possible measures for providing a healthy environment to the citizens, he said.
