LAHORE: On the direction of Commandant NHMP Training College DIG Mehboob Aslam, officers of NHMP Mobile Education Unit organized a Road Safety Seminar at Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College located at Farooqabad.
As per details, NHMP Mobile Education Unit conducted a Road Safety Seminar titled “Road Safety, Our Priority” at Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College under supervision of CPO/DSP Training Naseem Abbas. More than five hundred students attended the seminar. The participants of seminar were sensitized about traffic rules and road safety measures. Special focus was laid on road safety measures for pedestrians and bike riders. While addressing the participants DSP Naseem Abbas informed that the leading cause of death among adolescent is road crashes. He advised them to adopt road safety measures for their safety as the trauma of permanent disability and young death is beyond description. At the end of seminar a quiz program was also organized among participants of Seminar in which road safety related questions were asked and gift hampers were distributed for right answers. The President Pakistan Adventist Seminary & College Gee Sungbae from Korea showed great admiration for NHMP for conducting this very useful Seminar. Souvenirs were also exchanged among dignitaries.
