LAHORE: The Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication (ITT), Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique visited the Lahore Head Office M.A Jinnah Campus of the Virtual University of Pakistan here on Friday.
The Federal Minister received by Director ICT Ehsan Zafar Puri along with Director Administration VU Ahmer Sayeed Qazi, General Manager VUTV Babar Ali, Director Campuses Farhan Sadiq, Project Director Digi Skills Dr Zafar Alvi, Director Quality Enhancement Dr Abdul Majid and Regional Campus Manager Muhammad Tahir Malik.
The Federal Minister visited various departments of the university where he was briefed about the university functioning and rapid growth. while talking to media representatives, Federal Minister acknowledged the role of Virtual University as an important higher education institution. He also appreciated VUP’s for providing access to the knowledge and learning opportunity for the students across the country.
