Lahore: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has hailed
State Bank of Pakistan for accepting its demand and extending bank
timings during the Holy Month of Ramazan.

Industry demanded bank timings during the Holy Month of Ramazan from
10 am to 4 pm. The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry further
stated in the letter that normally banks observe 8 am to 2 pm timings
during Ramazan whereas, the markets start functioning around 11 am due
to which most of the business transactions remain unattended that
cause huge loss to them.
