Lahore Waste Management Company gets new Managing Director

LAHORE: Government of the Punjab has appointed Mr. Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti appointed as New Managing Director Lahore Waste Management Company. Taking the official charge of MD LWMC Mr.Ajmal Bhatti visited different areas of Lahore early in the morning to monitor cleanliness operation.

During the visit GM Operations Mr. Sohail Anwar Malik and other officials were also present. MD LWMC visited Johar Town, Township, Mughalpura, Allam Iqbal Town, Samnabad, Mozang, Ichra, Walled city followed by other areas. MD LWMC stated that maintaining cleanliness condition of the city is the utmost priority of the department and together we will improve the situation further.

He also emphasized on implementation of 3R strategy. MD LWMC also directed Turk contractor to ensure all their resources in the field. He added that maintaining cleanliness is mutual responsibility of public and LWMC in the city, without the cooperation of public LWMC cannot maintain cleanliness at 100 percent. MD LWMC also took the meeting with all departmental heads of the organization.
