KP Govt releases Rs5.5b for development of tribal districts

ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has released 5.5 billion rupees for development of tribal districts.
An official statement said that this amount will be spent on reconstruction of two hundred and forty schools and about seventy hospitals, Radio Pakistan reported.
Similarly, three hundred and over fifty water supply schemes will also be completed to provide clean drinking water to the people of all seven tribal districts.

A restaurant worker said, most of the hotel and restaurants will become lively with customer after midnight as the trend is getting popular like wildfire, adding, last year people were seen to flocked in restaurant and hotel to enjoy Sehri deals.
A student Azhar Ali said the culture of Iftar parties arranging outdoor with the passage of time has increased all across the country as discount deals attracting toward customers.
Iftar should be healthier and tasty and designed in a particular manner that can match our budget, said a young girl who was planned to have get together with friends outdoor, adding, I am thinking to have an Iftar party in any restaurant who will offer a attractive deal for us.
I live in Islamabad and I am very happy to see restaurants and online eateries are offering their best deals in the month of Ramazan for Iftar and Sehri, said Aliya Shahid.
I am looking a place for the Iftar dinner party where I can celebrate my son’s ‘Roza Kushai’ in an economical rates. I think restaurant buffet dinner packages are quite better, said a mother Yasmin Javed.

Tackling ‘curse of poverty’ tops PTI’s agenda: Senator Waleed
Senator Waleed Iqbal Sunday said the current government was working for affective poverty alleviation programmes to benefit poor segment of the society as the complete eradication of poverty was the topmost priority of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government.
The policies of the present government are revolving around certain development projects, he said while speaking to Radio Pakistan.
He said the best development in any country is human resource development and PTI government strongly believes in it. —APP
“We have been trying to work in areas that were neglected by the previous governments including basic health facilities, provision of quality education and others”, he added.
Senator further said social justice is utmost importance if we want a welfare state, adding, I am hopeful that PTI will definitely fulfill its commitment according to expectation of the people.
