LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) officers and officials barred
from visiting headquarters frequently unnecessarily.

It has been noted that officers/officials of the field formations of
FBR visit FBR (HQ) frequently during the working hours, without the
prior permission of their Heads of Department. Absence of these
officers/officials from duty not only hampers the working in field
formations but also causes un-necessary interruption of working at FBR
(HQ), Islamabad. 2. The Competent Authority has been pleased to direct
that in future no officer/official shall visit FBR (HQ) without
written prior permission of the respective head of the field
formation. 3. All Head of the field formations are accordingly
directed to ensure compliance of the above directions.
