Lahore: Education is essential to make Pakistan a strong economic power. Thanks to God that the prayers of my parents and the guidance of the teachers made my success possible. I like to eat sweets, I feel active in eating sweets.
These views were expressed by ACCA Global Topper Zehra Neem Dar in an exclusive interview with Daily The Business the other day.
Zara Naeem, an ACCA student from Lahore, has been declared the World Award winner for getting the highest marks in the Financial Reporting Examination held in December 2020. With the recognition and presence of the ACCA in more than 179 countries around the world, the standard of gold in accounting is considered, which has opened the door for the fulfillment of highly respected and professional opportunities around the world.
“I always wanted to be a professional like my father. I saw that I took my father to the great heights in his military service which always encouraged me to follow in his footsteps. ‘I dedicated myself completely to my education.
‘Explaining the reason for choosing ACCA, Zara said, “ACCA was a natural choice for me. With more than 527,000 students studying and sitting for the same exams in approximately 179 countries, the ACCA is the best option for those who want to go. ’
Dispelling the impression that finance and accountancy are the male dominated profession, she shared, “It’s no longer the case. With bodies like open juices like ACCA, you would be surprised to know that ACCA now has 58% of students, more women than ever before to become professional accountants. So yes, be prepared to see cracks in the glass ceiling. ’
“I don’t eat anything special. I have been able to eat and drink everything made at home. However, I like to eat the sweetest dish. Eating sweets makes me feel active, she answered a question. “I have made the difference due to the grace of God Almighty, the prayers of my parents and the guidance of my teachers,” she said, adding that education was essential to make Pakistan economically strong.
Zara has big dreams for herself and is determined to start her own consulting firm after becoming an ACCA member. She is confident that the firm will be able to win international clients because of the globally accepted qualifications and the global connections that the ACCA membership offers. The ACCA rigorously tests the skills and competencies that are needed, with a strong foundation of ethics and professionalism. It prepares students for a rewarding career as a competent and ethical financial professional.
“Devotion, perseverance and honesty of purpose always lead any one to success. Loving my beloved country, Pakistan, I am always encouraged to do something for our country,” she added, concluding we should also work for those who are under-privileged.
ACCA has managed to run about 15,153,000 tests in the vast majority of its markets around the world. Additional measures were implemented in accordance with relevant, relevant governmental advice for the health and safety of its students.
