KHANEWAL: According to the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, five Ramadan Bazaars have been set up in the district Khanewal. Citizens of Khanewal District are benefiting from the subsidy being given by the government of Punjab on the grocery items like ghee, floor, drinks, sugar, meat and many other things.
Deputy Commissioner Khanewal Ishfaq Ahmad Gujjar conducted a surprise visit to the Ramadan bazaar and checked the agriculture fare price shops, rates and quality of the meat, vegetables,fruits and other things.
He ordered the administration of Ramadan Bazaars to provide everything in the bazar.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Khanewal Ishfaq Ahmad Gujjar said that a large number of people are coming to the Ramadan Bazaar and getting the benefits from the subsidy. This thing proves that the public of Khanewal are very happy and satisfied with the government of Punjab.
Before this, the DC also visited the fruit and vegetables market early in the morning and checked fruits and vegetables. He ordered the market committee to adjust the rate on daily basis and give him report because this market adjust the rate of retail market but in Ramadan bazaar the rates of fruits and vegetables market should be implemented so as the public could be facilitated by the whole sale rates of all things.
The DC also advised to the Secretary market committee to take care the cleanliness of the fruit and vegetables market.
