Asif Ali Zardari sent to 10-day physical remand by Accountability court
ISLAMABAD: An accountability court granted the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) 10-day physical remand of former president Asif Ali Zardari.
NAB officials had requested the court for 14-day physical remand of the former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari .
Zardari appeared before accountability court judge Muhammad Arshad. During proceedings, NAB requested the court for the physical remand of the former president.
NAB prosecutor Muzaffar Abbasi informed the court that fake bank accounts were opened with the help of bank officials. Abbasi added that Zardari had been arrested and his remand was necessary for investigation.
Asif Ali Zardari requested the court for further facilities in NAB prison. The former president requested for an attendant and medical facilities.
