LAHORE: Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab has transformed it into a corruption-free and service-oriented department. The Department has taken indiscriminate action against the ‘Influential’ corrupt officials overcome corruption with the establishment and will continue working as watch-dog transparent use of the public money.
All out efforts have been made to bring the administrative, financial and operational reforms in the department to achieve the transparency in the working.
The department has received 23,016 complaints from July 2016 to August 2017 and disposed of 23,602 which include pending complaints of the previous year.
The ACE has recently completed inquiry about ‘mega’ corruption in the Punjab Saaf Pani Company (PSPC) and flicking its muscles to nab and probe all culprits to recover looted money at any cost.
“Against 452 illegal appointments in the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA), the ACE received more than 200 such complaints contrary to the Authority’s claim of only two complaints,”
These views were expressed by Director General ACE Brig (retired) Muzaffar Ali Ranjha in an exclusive interview with Daily The Business at his office on the other day.
“This is the first time in the history of the department that all complaints have been disposed of in a single year with 100 per cent target achievement.”
