LAHORE: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on
Monday inaugurated the three-day 7th Pak-China Business Forum- Industrial Expo 2019 (PCBF-IE) jointly organized by Comsats University, The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of
Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Everest International Expo here at Expo Centre Lahore.Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that China has always provided support and assistance to
Pakistan’s economic and social development.

He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of 7th Pak-China Business Forum and Industrial
Expo in Lahore on Monday.
The Minister said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project has transformed the ties
between two countries into economic cooperation.He said that there are vast opportunities of
investment in solar power sector in the country.He invited Chinese investors to establish
manufacturing plants of solar power products.
Federal Minister said Kashmir has been turned into a jail by Indian Prime Minister Narendra
Modi, and the freedom struggle of Kashmiris will definitely bear fruit.
Fawad Chaudhry talked to media in Lahore and maintained that Muslims in Assam have been
stripped of their citizenship and they have started raising voice against Modi as well. India is
facing difficulties due to Narendra Modi’s policies, economy is deteriorating and the Sikh
community is also not willing to stay with India, he commented.
Federal Minister said that the friendship of Pakistan and China is taller than Himalayas and
deeper than Arabian Sea. He further said we hope China will grab these opportunities that we
provide here will invest in Pakistan renewable source of energy.China-Pakistan Economic
Corridor (CPEC) Project has transformed the ties between two countries into economic
cooperation, Fawad Chaudhry said.
Chinese Council General Long Dingbin, FPCCI Regional Chairman Abdul Rauf Mukhtar,
Rector COMSATS University Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar and Director COMSATS University,
Lahore Campus Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas, Chairman Everest International Expo Mr. Wang Zihai
also speech on the occasion.
Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar said that many opportunities available in Pakistan for the young
graduates. we need to develop them which is the major purpose of this PCBF-IE, the huge
investments and the development of new industries for the youth. more than 400 Chinese
businessmen and entertainers participated in this event.
Abdul Rauf Mukhtar, Regional Chairman FPCCI said that this show will provide assistance like
match making, video conferencing, B2B meetings and more to help enhance the bilateral
relationship and collaboration between the people of two countries.
Chairman Everest International Expo Mr. Wang Zihai said that the aim of the event is to explore
the untapped market of China and Pakistan keeping in view the latest trends of the business and

Technology in every industry. It is hoped that event will also grab foreign investments resulting
global connectivity and enhanced job opportunities.
Director COMSATS University, Lahore Campus Prof. Dr. Qaiser Abbas said that event will also
provide platform for necessary brainstorming and capacity building for increased interaction
between Chinese and Pakistani entrepreneurs, businessmen, and academia with more compatible
skills and expertise.
