55 qualify for FBR IR inspectors’ posts

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Wednesday offered
appointment to the persons against the post of Inspector Inland
Revenue (13S-16) in the Inland Revenue Department under Federal Board
of Revenue. Islamabad upon recommendations of the Federal Public
Service Commission, Islamabad.

The persons include Muhammad Mehboob-Ur-Rehman Sabir, Rana Muhammad
Awais, Salman Munir, Siraj Ur Rehman, Muhammad Kashif Iqbal, Muhammad
Abrar Khan, Zaighum Waqas, Muhammad Arif, Waqas Zafar Kurar, Makwder
Ali, Zeeshanwaheed,Mohsin Khan, Zuhaib Muhammad, Waqas Ali, Kamran
Taj, Yasir Sohu, Shujah Ud Din, Nabil Ur Rehman, Akmal Nazeer, Syed
Aijaz Alishah, Muhammad Umair Shaikh, Muhammad Usman, Rakesh Kumar
Modi, Syed Zia Ur Rahman, Naveed Ahmad, Suhail Afzal, Ahmad Baig,
Muhammad Kashif, Muhammad Irfan, Yaqub Shah, Obaid Ullah, Liaqat Qazi,
Muhammad Wasif, Sohaib Zafar, Muhammad  Ali, Sobia Mukhtar, Maryam
Bibi, Maryam Yaqoob,  Nazia Ghazal,  Zareena Bashir,  Makhar,  Shamila
Rasool,  Zakia Shafi, Zeenat, Kiran Shahzadi, Rehan Saleem Ahmad, Raza
Inderyas,  Raynaud Hayat, Syeda Tabassum, Suman, Sunni, Subhash, Sadia
Bano, Muhammad Adnan and Naveed Yousaf.

The terms and conditions of appointment are such as they will be
entitled to draw pay in the Basic Pay Scale (BPS-I6) of Rs.
18910-1520-64510 plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

They will be on probation for a period of one year extendable by a
further period not exceeding one year provided that if no order is
made on the expiry of the first year of probation period, the
probation shall be deemed to have been extended for a further period
of one year provided further that if no order is made by the date
following the term of extended period of probation, the appointment
shall be deemed to be held until further order.

Appointment on probation shall be subject to the provisions of Section
6 of the Civil Servants Act 1973.

Moreover, their services will be liable to be terminated in accordance
with Section II of the Civil Servants Act. 1973.

Furthermore, their appointment will be subject to production of
medical fitness certificate issued by the authorized Central Medical
Board of the Federal Government and two character certificates from
two different officers in BS-17 or above and the appointment will be
on provisional basis subject to verification of their character and
antecedent and academic certificates/ degrees and domicile
certificates.

Similarly, the appointment shall be provisional also subject to
successful completion of prescribed training, the schedule of which
will be communicated later after joining the post and in respect of
all other service matters e.g. leave, medical facilities etc they will
be governed by the appropriate rules of the Federal Government as
applicable to the employees of their category.

In addition to that, those persons/ candidates who are already in
service of any Government department/ autonomous body etc and have
applied for the post through proper channel will have to get
themselves relieved from their employer before joining the post for
which date will be communicated when appointment letter will be
issued.

Similarly, candidates in Government Service who have not submitted
their Departmental Permission Certificate to FPSC must submit the same
to FBR immediately, otherwise they will not be allowed to join the
post.

Other terms and conditions include that if the offer of appointment
on above terms and conditions is acceptable, they should report to the
nearest Medical Centre for Federal Governments/Central Health
Establishment for their medical examination immediately.

The original medical fitness certificate, two character certificates
and willingness to join the post may be submitted to the undersigned
by 15th April, 2019 failing which the offer may be treated as
cancelled and candidates who are not willing to accept the offer, are
advised to convey their regret in writing. Notification of
appointment/posting will be issued on receipt of above documents.

The candidates may also indicate the first and second choice of
station (RTO/LTU) for posting. However, posting will be given as per
requirement/ availability of post at the concerned station.
