Three-day 8thPak Pharma & Healthcare Expo 2 go019 Exhibition and Conference to open on Jan 15th
Lahore, Jan 08: The 8th Pak Pharma and Healthcare Expo 2019 Exhibition and Conference will be held on January 15-17 at Expo Centre Lahore.
This three-day exhibition and conference is being organized by Prime Event Management and is supported by Pakistan Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Association (PPMA) and Group of Researchers and Intellectuals of Pakistan (GRIP), it is learnt on Tuesday.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar will inaugurate the expo. Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Health Minister Punjab, Zahid Saeed, Chairman PPMA, Chaudhry Ansar Farooq, PPMA North, Amjad Ali Jawa, CEO Wilshire Lab. Hamid Raza, CEO Nuetra Pharmaceutical, Shahzaib Akram, former chairman PPMA and Prof. Niaz Ahmad Akhter, Vice Chancellor, Punjab University, Lahore will be guests of honor at the inaugural ceremony.
Director Prime Event Kamran Abbasi said that this event will be a very important mile stone in promotion of pharma and healthcare industry of Punjab. It will bring together all the stakeholders of pharmaceutical industry under one roof for a three days event.
The exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity of one to one contact for all those who are interested in to promote their products and service to pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan. Meetings and discussion on the sideline of the exhibition will help participants in shaping and formulating future strategies and business plans. This exhibition will provide a rare opportunity to both local and international manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and service to have in direct contact with the pharmaceutical manufacturers in Pakistan, he told.
The business environment is highly promising with the liberal government policies, the industry has plan for expansion. Consistent economic policies have increased the investors’ confidence and various new projects, and expansion plans being undertaken, he shared.
Pakistan enjoys a very unique geographical position and gives it a strategic position for the market access to Afghanistan and Russian states. This industry is far more organized compare to the neighboring countries of Iran, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. They have made inroads to the African markets and the future is very promising.
Pak Pharma & Healthcare Expo 2019 will definitely go a long way to create and build long business relations of the manufacturers and suppliers with pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan, he underlined.
Kamran Abbasi told that visitors will include pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharma exporters, pharma distributors, pharmacists, doctors, paramedics, commercial attaches, trade representatives, foreign delegates, researches and students, academicians from pharma and medical institutions, officials of regulatory agencies and governments.

International Conference of Pharmaceutical and biochemical Sciences (IC-PBS), International Conference of Research on Oncology and Cancer Sciences (IC-ROCS), International Conference on Food-Agricultural Sciences and Technologies (IC-FAST) will also be part of event. GRIP is founded by Zeeshan Danish, Phd Punjab University who is also managing these conferences.
Briefing about the conference, Director Prime Event told that it is not only aimed to develop young professionals, but also to brush up knowledge of the experienced technocrats who are already working in the industry and prepare them to take up new challenges. This conference will provide an intellectual forum for all the stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share experiences and grow together, he added.
In a statement, Founder of Group of Researchers and Intellectuals of Pakistan (GRIP), Muhammad Zeeshan Danish expected that more than 15,000 participants will attend “International Conference on Pharmaceutical and Biochemical Science (IC-PBS)” and International Conference of Research on Oncology & Cancer Science (IC-ROCS), 2019, to exchange their innovative ideas. Meanwhile, researchers, scholars and more than 1,000 students will also present their research works in the conference, he added.
