British Airways to resume flights to Pakistan after 10 years


ISLAMABAD: The British Airways on Tuesday announced to resume flight operations to Pakistan after as many as 10 years.

The announcement was made by BA’s Head of Asia Pacific and Middle East Sales Robert Williams in a joint press conference with State Overseas Minister Zulfi Bukhari and Commerce Advisor Abdul Razak Dawood.The BA representative said that the flight operations will start from June 2019, with the very first flight to land at Heathrow Airport from Islamabad, adding that as many as three flights per week will be operated. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy British High Commissioner to Pakistan Richard Crowder acknowledged Pakistan Army and nation’s sacrifice in the war against terrorism.
