Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves position
KARACHI (APP): The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$13,832.0 million on November 9, 2018, a weekly report issued by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said here Thursday.
The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
- Foreign reserves held by the SBP:
US$ 7,482.9 million - Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks:US$ 6,349.1 million
- Total liquid foreign reserves:
US$ 13,832.0 million
During the week ending November 9, 2018, SBP’s reserves decreased by
US$196 million to US$7,483 million due to external debt servicing and
other official payments.
