400 new staff to be recruited in MWMC

MULTAN: Deputy Commissioner, Mudassir Riaz Malik said that 400 staff including executive officers would be recruited in Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC).
He said that extra sanitary staff would be deputed at 68 union councils and strict monitoring would also be ensured.
Presiding over a review meeting regarding cleanliness arrangements here on Saturday, the DC said that strict action would be taken against absent sanity workers without any discrimination.
He said that containers and waste drums would be installed at various places in the city.
He said that company’s Board of Directors meeting had been called to purchase new machinery and sanitary tools.
He said that citizens would soon witness positive changes about cleanliness in the city.
CEO District council Iqbal Fareed has been given special task for the improvement in cleanliness operation and for assistance of administration.
Additional Commissioner Arshad Gopang, Managing Director MWMC Anwaar ul Haq and other officials were also present.
