SRINAGAR: Indian troops on Friday martyred two more youth in Sopore district of occupied Kashmir, according to a report of Kashmir Media Service.
The troops killed the youth during a cordon and search operation in the Drusoo area of Sopore. The operation was going on in the area when reports last came in.
On the other hand, the occupation authorities have suspended mobile Internet services in Baramulla and Kupwara districts and ordered closure of educational institutions in the Sopore area.
Meanwhile, complete shutdown is being observed in Kupwara, Trehgam, Kalaroos and Lolab areas against killing of two youth, Zahoor Ahmed and Bilal Ahmed Shah by Indian troops in Lolab area. Zahoor and Bilal were martyred by the Indian troops in Khumriyal area of Kupwara district, yesterday.
The authorities have deployed Indian troops and police personnel in strength in Kupwara town to prevent people from staging protests against the killings. An eyewitness said that all the entry and exit points of the town have been sealed by the forces’ personnel.
