Kite seller arrested, metal strings recovered

Khanewal: On the orders of District Police Officer (DPO) Khanewal, crackdown against kite makers and kite flyers is in full swing.
A man namely Fiaz resident of colony no-1 was arrested under Kite Flying Act for selling kites and metal string. The police has also recovered 120 kites of different sizes and dangerous metal strings from accused. A case has been filed.
THE DPO has said that every person of society has to play his effective role to prevent from fatal result of kite flying and to prevent their children from using this kind of metal. He further said that kite flying is dangerous for human life and violators will be dealt with strictly. Parents must stop their children from this fatal paly of kite flying and people selling this are not worthy of any concession.
Crackdown against kite sellers will continue on equal basis so that precious human lives can be saved from wasting.
