LAHORE: Mathar Niaz Rana has assumed the charge as Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab here on Monday.
Mathar Niaz Rana has served as Additional Chief Secretary (Energy), besides working on various important positions in different ministries and division of the federal government.
While presiding over a meeting of all directors at ACE headquarters, he said that a Zero tolerance policy would adopt against corrupt elements and brought them under the Law.
He said relief would also be provided to effective persons whereas this should be the priority of all officers. “We can get best results in the shortest time period with the best teamwork,” DG said.
Earlier, DG was briefed in meeting about all under investigation cases in Anti-Corruption Establishment.
It is pertinent to mention here the Punjab interim government on July 2, 2018, has removed Anti-Corruption Establishment DG Brigadier (retd) Muzaffar Ali Ranjha from service whereas a notification in this regard of his removal was also issued. An additional charge was given to the Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Tariq Najeeb Najmi.
