Gaza, Jun 8 (Prensa Latina) In their repression to the protests in the Gaza Strip, Israeli troops killed three unarmed Palestinians, including a child, and injured more than 500 unarmed demonstrators.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, Haitham Al Jamal, 15, was killed when he was shot with bullets while participating in protests on the Gaza-Israel border, east of Khan Younis village in the south of that territory.
Among the injured, there are 92 unarmed people who were shot with real projectiles, including 26 children and four women, in addition to 21 with wounds caused by shrapnel and 56 directly impacted by tear gas cans, explained the official spokesman Ashraf Al Qidra.
Seven of wounded by bullets are in critical condition.
The National Superior Commission for the Great Return March had requested the largest participation of the population in the protests this Friday, the last of the holy month of Ramadan, which coincides with the Day of Al Quds (Arabic name fof Jerusalem).
Since the beginning on March 30 of the Return Marches in the Gaza Strip, more than 120 Palestinians have died due to the Israeli repression, which has also left more than 2,000 injured.
